Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities & Duties


  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct therapy sessions with patients.
  • Document patient care in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Nursing.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Experience in a clinical psychiatric setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of current mental health laws and ethical standards.
  • Experience with a diverse patient population.
  • Leadership and management abilities.
  • Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a focus on psychiatry.
  • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or another relevant certifying body.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.
  • Experience in telemedicine.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare technology.
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
